The watercolor techniques vary from artist to artist, from very loose and sketch-like to very controlled and realistic. I see my watercolors as perfectly imperfect, and I find great joy in painting them. Watercolor is all about thin washes and transparent color, capturing light and shade in a most beautiful way.
